Many psychics work as interpreters for animals. Like many people, pet psychics believe that animals are very intelligent and possess a host of human-like emotions that their human owners cannot understand. Some pet psychics claim to be able to feel the joy, sorrow, and even pain of animals by "listening" to them, or by placing their hands on them. Still others believe they are psychic pet healers and are able to heal animals who are in pain or distress.

Pet psychics help with behavioral problems as well as health problems. These pet psychics are a middle man between the pets and their owners, helping the owners to understand the needs of their pets. They also have done work involving reuniting lost pets with their owners.

Many books and publications have been published on the topic of animal psychics and there are some historic cases of this phenomenon. Most of us hear about pet psychics being utilized primarily by wealthy pet owners, however, more and more ordinary people are contacting pet psychics for help with their pets.
